Sur Medi1, ce matin, j'apprend que... Fairouz, symbole de la chanson arabe, est honoré par l'American University of Beirut.

Avec Karim Aga Khan IV, oui le fameux himself, Richard A. Debs, international financier, Ghassan Tueni, journaliste et Ahmed Zewail, L'egyptien prix Nobel '99 en chimie, Fairouz s'est vu décerné un doctorat honoraire. Ce n'est qu'à son honneur comme elle a pu honnoré la chanson arabe. Fairouz, on t'aime.

L'American University of Beirut est présidée, pour rappel, par John Waterbury, l'auteur d'un livre mythique sur l'histoire du Maroc d'après indépendance... Le Commandeur des croyants il y a quelquechose comme 40 ans!!

Steve Jobs, parle aux jeunes de Stanford et son discours est en train de faire le tour du monde. Vous allez le trouver sur tout les blogs et pas n'importe lesquels... Oui, tous les grands 'gourous' en parlent!!

Le Washington Post, ce matin publie l'info déjà publié par l'Associated Press hier en soirée. L'opérateur americain Kerr-McGee a été exclu du fonds d'exploration (pétrole et gaz) du Gouvernement Norvégien. En effet, le ministre des finances du Royaume du Norvège sort sa mise (52,7 millions de $). Pourquoi? Parce que, selon le ministre norvégien, cette opération d'exploration est sur une zone contestée et l'objet de conflit non résolu. Et elle permet au Maroc d'exploiter des ressources pétrolières dans la zone et miner le processus de paix supervisé par les Nations Unies!!!

Cette décision vient à la suite d'une demande formulé par le conseil consultatif sur l'éthique du Fonds Norvégien.

John Christiansen, porte-parole de Kerr-McGee, a déclaré que les Nations Unies ont confirmé la légalité de l'autorisation de reconnaissance obtenue par la compagnie pétrolière des autorités du Maroc en 2002. "Nous supportons les efforts continus des Nations Unies pour trouver une solution permanente(...) pour le conflit sur le Sahara..." a déclaré Christiansen.

ce qui me choque: c'est le paragraphe suivant du texte de l'Associated Press: "Morocco annexed the Western Sahara, a vast mineral-rich territory colonized by Spain until 1975. Years of U.N. efforts to organize a referendum on self-determination there have been fruitless, in large part because Morocco and Polisario Front rebels have failed to agree on who could vote."

Est-ce qu'il n'y a pas autre formule pour décrire le conflit? Pourquoi s'arrêter à l'occupation espagnole? C'était le Maroc avant les Spanish!

La diplomatie marocaine doit bouger envers tous ces instances pour COMMUNIQUER sur la position marocaine! Il faut bien guérir quand on prévient pas!!!

Paris 2012 est le projet de presque tous les français (83% pour l'organisation des JO, selon FR2). L'évenement du dimanche dernier sur les champs est tout à fait excellent! Là on voit le talent français pour réaliser des choses pas tout à fait ordinaires. On ne peut qu'admirer ce show d'un jour qui a donneé l'occasion à des milliers de gens ordinaires de rencontrer des champions extraordinaires. Jour mémorable pour Paris, ses habitants, ses visiteurs, ses champions...

J'ai découvert le site du club des entreprises soutenant la candidature de Paris. Le club qui regroupe un certain nombre d'entreprises françaises (et pas seulement) coopére avec beaucoup d'institutions avec un seul objectif: Faire gagner paris!

Une organisation aussi professionnelle qu'on peut l'imaginer, avec 18 entreprises sponsors officiels et des centaines d'autres autour.

Bien entendu, les autres candidats sont tout aussi agressifs pour décrocher cet honneur et par la même cette super opportunité de business et de prestige.

Nous marocains, on peut tout de même être fiers du fait qu'à la tête du comité qui va désigner la ville gagnante, Il y a une marocaine, Mme Moutawakile. Je suis fier de cette femme et de son parcours, malgré tout ce que peut dire ses détracteurs! Bravo Nawal! Bonne chance à Paris et aux autres candidats!
